All GENESIS SERIES spreaders are forged from aircraft grade aluminum alloy
with a protective anodized finish. The spreading tips are forged from
shock resistant tool steel. The State-of-the-art design provides maximum spreading
force and the lightest possible weight, while providing an acceptable margin for
safety.
Every Genesis Series spreader is constructed of the highest quality
materials ad to the highest quality standards. Genesis Series spreaders are
all complaint with DIN 14751 and are ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certified.
Every Genesis spreader has specially designed tips. It has five gripping
surfaces and three angles. These angles give a better hold at different
times during the spread. The front section of the tip, with it's ridges,
is designed to make purchase points. The larger ridges are where most
spreading operations are performed. The larger ridges "bite"
into the material lessening the chance of "kick-back." The
curved edge of the tip is for paring sheet metal. The ridges on the inside
of the tip are for "pinching" and prying. At the base of the tip
there are large ridges that are in the opposite direction. These are used
during a "crush-down" evolution to help keep the tool in place.

Safety is a primary concern at American Rescue Technology. Every spreader
is engineered to be light-weight and strong. Strong enough to withstand
the tremendous forces these tools produce, plus an extra margin for
safety. This attention to detail provides the rescuer with the safest,
most dependable equipment available.
